Movie Review Hotel Transylvania

Hotel Transylvania: Count Dracula creates a Hotel as a safe haven for monsters from us (humans.) Mostly it's to keep his daughter Mavis safe. But when a human named Jonathan stumbles upon this safe haven Dracula freaks out. Mavis and Jonathan meet and she begins to like Jonathan, which upsets Dracula. More problems arise and everything turns into a disaster. Will Dracula be able to fix it all? I really liked this movie and found it to be quite funny! There are some things that were left unexplained at the end but overall it was a really good movie. (Rated PG)

Movie Review The Odd Life of Timothy Green

The Odd Life of Timothy Green: After receiving bad news from a fertility doctor, Cindy and Jim Green try to bury their dreams of having a child by writing out all the great traits their child would have and putting them in a box in the garden. During a freak storm in the middle of the night, they awake to find a boy named Timothy, with leaves growing from his ankles, standing in their kitchen calling them mom and dad. Cindy and Jim are thrown into the midst of parenthood and over the coming months, Timothy will teach them more than they could have imagined about being parents and raising a child, no matter how he comes into their lives. This movie is really good, but don't go unless you know you WILL cry. It was a great family movie but be prepared because it has made the news that it makes children cry. Yes, it's that sad. (Rated PG)

The Dark Knight Rises Movie Review

 

The Dark Knight Rises: Wow, well here's the plot, if you don't know it. Eight years after The Dark Knight, a new terrorist leader, Bane, overwhelms Gotham's finest, and Batman resurfaces to protect a city that has branded him an enemy. Despite his tarnished reputation after the events of The Dark Knight movie, in which he took the rap for Dent's crimes, Batman feels compelled to intervene to assist the city and its police force which is struggling to cope with Bane's plans to destroy the city. OK, so the Dark Knight Rises, it was pretty good, but at moments I felt like I was watching a foreign movie with no subtitles due to Batman's and Bane's garglely voices. At points it was hard to watch, especially because of the shooting that happened in Colorado on Premiere night. The action was exciting and the end was unpredictable. There were moments where things were not explained as well as they could have been. If you like the other Batman movies, you will probably like this one as well. (Rated PG-13)
